A fresh swing for Umhlali Prep cricket

During the first term all these players performed exceptionally well and the school looks forward to some exciting and competitive cricket during the fourth term.
With the start of cricket season in the fourth term imminent, Umhlali Preparatory School is encouraged and delighted by the success that some of their senior players have achieved in their selection for KZN Primary Schools Cricket.
In the U11 age group Michael de Beer and Aryan Singh were selected. At U12 level Roan Marais made the team and at U13 level Dylan Hulett, Slade van Staden and Joshua White were all deservedly chosen for the KZN side.
During the first term all these players performed exceptionally well and the school looks forward to some exciting and competitive cricket during the fourth term.
The number of teams coming in on a weekly basis is fantastic to see. Nineteen sides are catered for from U9 to U13 level and most of these teams play regular matches. All teams have been allocated an experienced coach, with some of the coaches having played provincially.
The enthusiasm of the players and the support of the parents is the hallmark of sport at Umhlali Preparatory School and the future looks very bright for cricket.
