"THANK YOU !!
7th December 2019
To the most Awesome Managers/Coaches/Sponsors
On behalf of all the 2019 u17 Mynah’s parents, we wish to extend our heartiest thanks and deepest gratitude for the incredible week experienced by our boys. As Polly rightly said, this could (and should) be the kickstart to many future cricketing careers. From weary (and in part - some disillusioned players), this 2019 Mynahs Tour has restored their love of this wonderful game, re-ignited their cricketing passion and taught them again how to have the best fun.
To the selectors – thank you for recognizing the talent and allowing it to flourish in abundance.
To the program organizers – the most memorable tour for each and every one of the boys.
To Kearsney (and driver) – for transporting the team safely around KZN in such luxury and comfort on those hot days.
To all the venue kitchens (Harding, Underberg, Eston & Kloof) for the delicious lunches & refreshments
To the two B&B’s (Harding & Underberg), thank you for making the team so welcome.
To the management – WOW, what can we say ……everything just worked – how privileged we were!
To Kingsmead Mynahs – you guys deserve so much more exposure, what an incredible mission with such distinguished past-players, mentors, sponsors and associates.
To Hollywood Bets – HUGE shout-out for your exceeding generosity in sponsoring this tour and magnificent kit. Our boys felt like true superstars, held their heads far above all the opposition and wore their branded clothing with such pride. What more could a young cricketer want!
We are so proud of the boys for delivering a 6-out-of-6 for you, and will all be forever grateful for this opportunity.
We wish you and yours a most Blessed Christmas and even better 2020!
Thank you so much.

"Dear Geoff
Sincere apologies for my delay in sending this after my phone call to you. I am writing to you with much gratitude for, and acknowledgement of, the enormous amount of work that clearly went into the above festival.
The festival was exceptionally well run and organized. The boys had a superb weekend. At 11 years of age, cricket can for some boys be a bit long and thus their interest begins to wane. I think your festival reignited any waning souls, win or lose they really enjoyed all the exposure and learnt a great deal. It was a weekend of unity and much excitement at times.
Thank you for the shirts and caps, thank you to the generous sponsors and to Kearsney for hosting. Most importantly, thank you to all those who gave of their time (so precious these days), in the interests of sport and teamwork.
Best regards
Meriel

"Hi Geoff
As with our chat this morning, I just wanted to let you know what an awesome event the Kearsney u11 cricket festival was. My son and his mates absolutely loved it, as did my wife and I. Please pass on a message of thanks to Mr Ratcliffe or forward me his email address.
We were however disappointed to hear Mr Ratcliffe state at the end of prize giving that it may have been the last year that it would be held. Hopefully this won’t be the case. If the securing of sponsorship is an issue, I’m sure this need would be met if communicated to parents of under 11 children at the participating schools. Let’s hope that we haven’t seen the end of this wonderful tournament.
Thanks very much.
Regards
Darren Robertson

"I want to express my sincerest thanks and appreciation for the hard work that must have gone on behind the scenes of the cricket tournament at Kearsney College this past weekend. My son had a wonderful 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed every moment! It was a very special time for the whole family and even his grandparents and aunt were able to come and watch some of the matches. It must have been an immense amount of hard work and we are so impressed with the organization of the entire event.
It was a great opportunity for all the boys!
Many thanks again to everyone that was involved in the organization and presentation of this lovely event!
Warmest regards
